Photographer Spotlight
“Photography is my outlet to cope with the stress of my life and find inner peace. Driving hours away from home, feeling the brush of the wind on my face in the presence of no one for miles and miles always brings me a feeling of calm. Vast landscapes of winding rivers and snow-tipped peaks in the distance are where I enjoy spending my time with a camera. My photography journey started simultaneously with my introduction to fly fishing. Fishing in serene and rural areas of Colorado presented me with the perfect landscapes for photography. Yet, photography quickly became my main passion, and fishing became an afterthought during trips. I strive to convey a story with my photography: the passion of a fly fisherman, the ruggedness of a cowboy at work, and the beauty of light and landscapes.”
