Photographer Spotlight
“My love for photography began in middle school with the gift of a cheap digital camera, but this love did not fully develop into the passion I now have until my sophomore year of high school. Since then, I have enjoyed capturing moments largely through landscape photography and human/environment interaction pieces. This said I have also done multiple portraiture-based photo essays. Currently, most of my photography takes place in the outdoors when I am adventuring. I try to capture the feelings and emotions I (or others) are experiencing in the moment—feelings that can often be amplified in outdoor environments. Through my photos I hope to broaden the possibilities for others and to inspire people to explore and branch outward in their own ways. Although I wish to share my own love for the outdoors, I hope my photos bridge beyond this often narrowly defined interest and capture more universal ideas including beauty and relationships (human/human or human/environment).”
