A Summer in Colorado - Fourteen 14ers

Katherine Beard ‘24

Little did I know that when I would be living in Colorado Springs this summer, I would push myself to explore so many of the beautiful mountain ranges all over the state. It had been a long time since I willed my camera up hikes with me, let alone Colorado’s famous 14,000 ft. mountains. Spending my summer outside, capturing the most beautiful scenery brought me to so many incredible places, people, and self-realization. These photos are a compilation of thousands of vertical elevation, miles trekked on old boots, and new friendships formed. If you are ever looking for a new friend and hiking partner, I am your gal!
